Our value

pilot

Home grown innovations

We have a reputation for finding new ways to help the most disadvantaged. It might be that we learn that Indigenous job seekers experience a higher success rate when they are a paired with a mentor. Or we might create a training program that uses at-risk boys' love of smash-up derbies to teach them the panel beating trade and get them off the streets.

Our job is to turn our member's ideas into network-wide innovations. Our national reach allows us to share our knowledge and scale a great idea.

If it works in Perth, it might work in Brisbane - and it's our job to see if it does.

As leaders in on-the-ground, home-grown innovation, we invest in community programs which are sometimes unfunded, but deliver essential services that would not otherwise exist. Sometimes we see better ways of delivering and funding existing services.

Our network is made up of diverse organisations who all bring different strengths and knowledge which can be shared. They work in a range of communities in remote, regional and metropolitan areas. Each community has unique challenges which stimulate new thinking.

Often by the time we have devised a solution, community leaders and government are unaware that problems existed. Pilot programs are carefully planned, connected with partners, resourced and tracked.

The value we bring to others

When you want to see a transformation in your life, your family, your business or your community, don't talk to one organisation, talk to many. The value we bring is that we are a door to a diverse and innovative world of collaborators who help you solve your challenges and your community's simultaneously.

We call this the power of many. It's a feeling of empowerment but it's also a tried and tested platform for collaboration. If there's a solution lying in an out-of-the-way place, we'll find it. If unexpected partners hold two pieces of the same puzzle, we'll bring them together.

Here's how it applies specifically:

Members. We help you help many
For members who want a larger market presence, we procure new business or funding, connect them with partners, share group services and drive performance, while preserving each member's vibrant identity. Our strength lies in inspiring members to solve problems in new ways and improving practices and processes. This means that members need to invest less in internal administration and compliance.

Employers. Solve your problems and help your community
For employers who want to build a strong workforce pipeline, we provide relevantly skilled, committed, capable employees who will value the opportunity to move ahead. Our strength is in planning employment and training needs ahead of time, and supporting with HR functions.

Clients. Don't connect to one person who cares, connect to many
For clients who want new skills and opportunities, we reveal the immense pool of wisdom, connections and expertise that lies at their fingertips through our network. Our strength lies in spending time with clients and designing an integrated solution that addresses root causes. We then inspire and support them every step of the way. This means clients can learn new skills, find stable employment, reconnect with society and have a voice.

Partners. Partner with leaders in scaling innovation
For partners who want to extend impact in communities, we provide an innately collaborative model. Our strength lies in always looking for smarter ways to deliver services by bringing together partners from across different sectors that each hold a piece of the puzzle. This means partners invest less in research, policy design and activating policy at the front line.

Let us co-design a street-wise solution for your organisation that addresses your business needs and brings opportunities to your community.
