We collaborate through Collective Impact
Collective Impact is a framework to tackle deeply entrenched and complex social problems.
It's an innovative and structured approach to making collaboration work across government, business, philanthropy, non-profit organisations and citizens to achieve significant and lasting social change in communities across Australia.
This powerful business model is at the core of everything we do at CoAct.
We always work in collaboration and follow these principles:
The driving force for collaboration is motivation. For a collaborative project to succeed, everyone involved needs to feel they gain something from the collaboration or feel they are doing a meaningful thing and working towards a valuable end result.
For a successful collaboration, it's important to be flexible with the ownership of ideas. This doesn't mean a team should not give credit to individuals where credit is due, but any issues of ownership of ideas or concepts need to be agreed at the start.
Diversity and The Power of Many
Collaboration benefits from a wide range of skills and expertise in the pool of participants. A diverse group of participants is often the best way achieve this.
